Youth Summer Employment Program

We are committed to making a positive impact in the Aurora community by supporting at-risk community members and local youth. In partnership with the GiveBack Organization, this program offers older youth valuable leadership experience and job opportunities as they work with younger children and adults through the Youth Summer Camp and Hope House RSO Program.

01

Leadership and Growth

This unique program offers teenagers and young adults the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience and connect with community members by serving as camp counselors for children ages 6-13, as well as working with at-risk adults. Our youth leaders engage in workshops that help them prepare for their futures and develop important life skills.

02

Youth Summer Camp

Campers can look forward to exciting field trips, creative arts and crafts sessions, energetic gym activities, and more. We also prioritize educational enrichment, providing an encouraging environment for kids to continue learning over the summer through reading and simple science experiments. Through interactive activities, our camp aims to foster personal growth, build confidence, and create lasting memories for both our teen leaders and the young campers they mentor.

03

Hope House RSO (Recovery Community Organization)

Our youth workers assist in the Hope House RSO Program for community members and at-risk adults. During this program, ECHO provides resources for food and housing, helps guests build and maintain recovery plans, and fosters a community support system through activities and group outtings. Our guests participate in the program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
